This book did not make sense. I was thankful when it was over. I kept reading it to see if it got any better. Recap of the story: Betsy (realtor) and Skylar (builder) are at odds. Skylar buys a piece of property that Betsy wanted to buy but didn't have the money. Skylar then hires Betsy to sell the houses he will build on that property. They argue and fight. They sort of have a picnic but they both leave upset. They never once have a real conversation but somehow manage to fall in love. Blab! My advice, save your time.Product details

Hot Property edition by Lacey Diamond Romance eBooks Reviews
Unexplained temper tantrums from shallow characters make for a fluffy uninteresting read. It feels underdeveloped (especially the first half) and never really made me care about the characters.
Obviously this author has some serious a.d.d. or something. This book was difficult to read and seemed rush. It jumped around and just generally was not good. I'm glad it was free.
A story about an independent woman who has hopes and dreams, but is struggling with her business. Things dont look good when she loses her big account and is informed of the loss before she hears it from the actual client by a hot but rude man. I liked this story because theres always misunderstanding but like a lot of us the main charater doesnt ask or confide in anyone. yes the love interestes argued a lot but you could tell they were in love with each other, but refused to let each other know. I loved how even though the woman keep insulting him and pushing him away he still came back for more and he never gave up. This book gave me butterflies in my stomach at the end. I enjoyed reading it.
I love this book. I want to read more books by this author , can't wait to read more from Lacey Diamond.
I enjoy Lacey Diamond's writing style, whether it's ghosts or real people. From the meet cute to the proposal it's a great story with well developed characters and some antagonists to keep you interested and rooting for the HEA.
I liked this story.
The main characters were interesting and their love story was cute.
I did find it easy to get distracted and the book never let me wanting to know what happened next.
I found this story to be middling, neither great nor bad. I had no trouble reading this story as the writing was quite good. I agree with the reviewer that the characters were rather one-dimensional but this story is basically a light, fluffy read and nothing more so if that's what you expect (as I did), then you can enjoy the very simple plot. I did find the ending very far-fetched but I still finished the story with a mental smile. I wouldn't have liked to have paid money for this book, but since it was free, I am not sorry that I took the time to download and read it.
